Eduardus Halim is the inaugural holder of the Sascha Gorodnitzki Chair in Piano Studies and a member of the Artist Faculty. Acclaimed as both a pianist and pedagogue, he has appeared as soloist with major orchestras including the Chicago Symphony, Cleveland Orchestra, Philadelphia Orchestra, Baltimore Symphony, Detroit Symphony, Malaysian Philharmonic, and Russian National Orchestra. A winner of the Young Concert Artists International Auditions, he was awarded an Avery Fisher Career Grant in 1996.
