Professional Headshot of Dr. Arameh Anvarizadeh

2026 Anne Cronin Mosey Lecture

Wed Mar 25
6 pm - 7 pm ET

About the lecture
The Anne Cronin Mosey Lecture addresses key issues facing the Occupational Therapy profession through thought-provoking dialogue. The lectureship began in 2003 to honor Dr. Mosey upon retirement for her achievements, legacy and contributions to the NYU Steinhardt Department of Occupational Therapy.

This lecture "More Than a CPT Code: Reimagining Occupational Therapy Through Courage, Connection, and Collective Action" is a call-in for doers, a space to critically examine our identity and our perspectives on the state of our profession. Dr. Anvarizadeh invites us to reflect on the power of courage and authentic connection as the driving force for developing meaningful collaboration and innovation. Together, we’ll explore how we articulate our distinct value, claim our influence, and challenge entrenched systems to decrease barriers and increase access for the populations we serve. Through our collective voice, we won’t just reimagine what’s possible for our profession, but we will do.
