Taking the stage at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Dizzy's Club, the Wayne Shorter Ensemble explores the career of legendary saxophonist and NYU alumnus Wayne Shorter. Since 2008, the ensemble has performed over 140 of Shorter’s compositions, showcasing music from his early days with Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers, his groundbreaking work with Miles Davis and Weather Report, and his later innovative projects.
