Title: Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence in Research and Scholarly Writing
Blurb:
This talk will examine some ethical challenges related to the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in research and writing, with a special focus on generative AI tools, such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. Issues related to authorship, transparency, accountability, bias, data integrity, trust, and individual and social responsibility will be discussed.
