This year-long seminar provides doctoral students with (a) guidance in the research process as they work with faculty and share their progress in class and colloquia; (b) a forum to engage in critical discussion and share experiences around the process of research, including study design, measurement, participant recruitment, conducting of study, analysis, dissemination, and central research topics (such as ethics, research transparency, and reproducibility); and (c) a platform for presenting research progress and findings at the end of each academic year to students and faculty.
