Research Practicum in Developmental Psychology

Three year-long seminars (6 credits per year) for students in the PhD program in Developmental Psychology. The main objectives of this sequence is to provide students with: (a) guidance in the research process as they work with faculty mentors & share their progress in class & colloquia, (b) a forum to engage in critical discussion & sharing of experiences around the process of research, including design of a study, measurement, participant recruitment, conducting of study, analyses, & dissemination, & (c) a platform for presenting ongoing research progress & findings at the end of each academic year to students & faculty in the program.
