Research Description/Bio: Amy is a part-time, fifth-year doctoral candidate in International Education. Her research focuses on the internationalization of higher education, its economic, social, and democratic motivations, as well as its relation to migration, human capital flows, and inequality. Amy has her MPhil in International Education from NYU Steinhardt, MA in International Education from NYU Steinhardt and her BA in Spanish Studies and Psychology from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.

Prior to starting her doctoral studies, Amy worked in a handful of non-profit and for-profit organizations in Spain, Massachusetts, Minnesota, and New York. At NYU, she has worked in a marketing and admissions capacity for NYU Stern Global Executive Education, Global Degree Programs, and Online Programs. Amy also oversaw admissions, marketing, and financial aid for NYU Wagner. Currently, she is the Director of Special Admissions Projects at NYU Stern as well as the Director of Admissions and Marketing for the Stern at NYUAD One-year Full-time MBA program. A partnership between NYU Stern and NYU Abu Dhabi, the Stern at NYUAD MBA is the only full-time MBA program brought by a top US business school to the MENA region.
