Eric Novik is a Co-Founder and CEO of Generable, a company leveraging Bayesian inference, machine learning, and probabilistic computing to improve early-stage drug development, with a focus on oncology and cardiometabolic therapeutics. He has a background in applied Bayesian statistics and quantitative finance, having held roles in data science, statistical programming, and derivatives trading at firms like Barclays Capital and TIBCO Spotfire. Eric teaches Bayesian data analysis and a methods boot camp at NYU Steinhardt, covering calculus, probability, linear algebra, and statistical computing. He holds an MA in Statistics from Columbia University and a BS in Computer Science from Binghamton University, and he has a strong interest in clinical decision-making, risk communication, and statistical visualization.
