Thomas Gold, Ph.D., is a political scientist with extensive experience in education research, policy, and evaluation in the United States and globally. In Education Studies, he designs and teaches project-based courses on education entrepreneurship and consulting. He is also the founder of Assessment Solutions, LLC, advising mission-driven organizations on impact measurement and evaluation, including JA Worldwide, Digital Promise and, most recently, EQPD Learning. Previously, he was a Senior Associate Partner at Bellwether, where he led research and strategic initiatives to address educational inequities across the US.

Dr. Gold has held leadership roles in education research and policy, including Vice President of Research at the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) and Director of Strategic Initiatives at the Research Alliance for New York City Schools. At the New York City Department of Education, he led external research initiatives and policy analyses. His expertise spans youth entrepreneurship, career readiness, and urban education, with publications in academic journals, policy reports, and op-eds.

A Fulbright Scholar, Dr. Gold earned his Ph.D. in Political Science from The New School for Social Research and his B.A. in Italian from New York University.
