Research Description/Bio:
Mia Aassar is a doctoral student in Applied Psychology at NYU Steinhardt. Mia is passionate about implementing and evaluating assets-based approaches to suicide prevention. Her interests include suicide prevention policy, implementation science, and community-based participatory research. Mia holds a BA in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason University and an MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
