Warren Freeman has had leading musical theatre roles in every major city across the United States and Canada, including an extensive career in New York City as a singer, cabaret performer, and voiceover artist. National Tours include Cats and The Sound of Music, and while on the Cameron Mackintosh 50th anniversary tour of My Fair Lady, he played the role of Freddy for a week at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles. As a music director, he has created original arrangements and orchestrations for the National Broadway Chorus, the American Pops Orchestra, BC/EFA Easter Bonnet, and for new musicals at Signature Theatre and the Bold New Works Project in Arlington, VA.
Warren received his BFA in Musical Theatre from Penn State University and MM in Vocal Pedagogy from Shenandoah Conservatory. His research articles with colleagues at Shenandoah about contemporary singing requirements have been published in the Journal of Voice and the Journal of Singing.
