Michele Goldman (she/her) is an adjunct professor in the Department of Applied Psychology. She received her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in traumatic stress from Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, IL. She received her B.S. in Neuroscience from Union College.
Dr. Goldman is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 10+ years of experience providing mental health services in New York State. She has worked with diverse clients in a variety of settings including residential treatment programs, prisons, colleges, medical and rehabilitation units, and more. In addition to her specialized training in treating trauma, Dr. Goldman is a certified sex therapist and has a special interest working within the LGBTQ+ community. She approaches therapy from an attachment based and trauma informed lens, integrating various modalities and techniques in her work.
Dr. Goldman supervises newly licensed psychologists and/or clinicians obtaining hours for licensure. She also enjoys supervising, teaching, and training clinicians who are new to the mental health field.
