Laura Schneebaum is a licensed mental health counselor who received her master’s in counseling for mental health and wellness, as well as her bachelor’s in Applied Psychology and Art History, from New York University. Laura teaches Seminar classes and the Counseling Interview for the Applied Psychology program. She also works as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at OHEL Children’s Home and Family Services. In addition, Laura works as an assistant research scientist on the Latino Family Engagement and Language Development (L-FELD) Research Team at NYU. Through her research and counseling initiatives, Laura hopes to create and implement mental health awareness and anti- stigma interventions.
