The Friday@1 series presents conversations with renowned composers, songwriters, publishers, and industry executives who discuss their own creative processes, share their accomplishments and experiences, and thoughtfully critique our students’ work in master classes.
On April 17, our Screen Scoring program welcomed composer Joel Beckerman, founder of Man Made Music, a strategic music and sound studio that exists at the forefront of music, sound, and brands and has partnered with global brands such as AT&T, Disney, Deloitte, Abbott, Hulu, Nissan, QVC, IMAX and Subway to craft unique sonic experiences.
Songwriters/producers Ambré and David Swagg R’Celious Harris (Songwriting adjunct faculty), both contributors to H.E.R.’s Grammy-winning debut album, joined Director of Songwriting Phil Galdston for the April 24 edition of FRI@1. Ambré’s major label debut EP, Pulp, was released in the fall on Roc Nation.
