Based on Chaucer’s The Knight's Tale, this adaptation of The Two Noble Kinsmen weaves Fletcher & Shakespeare’s text with a classic 90's soundtrack as it explores notions of love, then & now, from the throes of unbridled passion to the hard-won trust of a long-time friend and the fraught heroics of chivalric code. This performance with music, first produced in the summer of 2018, strides onto the stage at NYU, asking: what is love? (baby don’t hurt me . . . no more).
