The hit show Pose, starring NYU Steinhardt's Scholar-in-Residence, Dominique Jackson, has recently popularized the New York City Ballroom scene. However, the community has been in New York City and beyond for over half a century and encompasses high fashion, runway modeling, and cutting-edge dance. Join us for an evening with Dominique Jackson as she and others discuss Ballroom Culture including fashion and performance representing a year-long collaboration between NYU Steinhardt and the ballroom community.
