An evening of solo and chamber works for percussion, highlighting compositions that have shaped and continue to define percussion repertoire.
For over a decade, the NYU Percussion Ensemble has worked with the Program in Music Composition to present an evening of world premieres written for the ensemble by NYU student composers, a collaboration that has yielded nearly 100 new works. The tradition continues with this year's concert.
