More Than Just the Movement is a verbatim documentary theatre investigation that invites audiences to consider how people residing in the United States experience migration. Drawing directly from interviews conducted in Fall 2025, this performance centers the voices and experiences of those who shared their stories. As the journey unfolds, audiences are encouraged to listen, reflect, and engage in a deeper conversation—not only with the people whose stories are being told, but also with their own ideas and beliefs about what migration means.

*Please Note
A section of the performance asks audience members to move to various locations in Pless Hall and the Black Box Theatre. Production team members will assist audiences on this journey throughout the performance.
