Center of Health and Rehabilitation Research: 2026 Spring Research Showcase

Fri Apr 24
11 am - 2 pm ET

The Center of Health and Rehabilitation Research (CoHRR) is pleased to invite you to its annual research showcase, which will take place on Friday, April 24 from 11 am to 2 pm in Kimmel 405-406.

The showcase will present new student and postdoctoral research from across the CoHRR community, which includes (but is not limited to) members of the Steinhardt programs in Communicative Sciences and Disorders, Nutrition and Food Studies, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Rehabilitation Sciences. It will also serve as a forum for the Steinhardt community to get together, make connections, and exchange ideas and opportunities.

Please RSVP to let us know you're coming and help us plan the event. We hope to see you in April!

How to Submit a Poster

Abstracts of up to 300 words are due by Friday, April 3 at 5 pm. You may submit scholarly work that has been accepted by or presented at a professional conference during the past academic year, as well as work that is currently under review for a professional conference. CoHRR will arrange and pay for the printing of posters, sized at 2x3 ft (landscape).

Fill out this form to submit an abstract.

What to Expect

The showcase will consist of two poster sessions (each about an hour long) and a seated portion and informal lunch with talks, a panel, and/or 'roundtables' to discuss topics of interest. You may attend part or all of the event. Please RSVP to help us plan and feel free to invite students and researchers in your department or program.

Please submit your request for accommodations for events and services at least two weeks before the date of your accommodation need.
