The Scholars Program promotes excellence in academic achievement and leadership. Entering freshman, who present a record of distinction in scholastic achievement and leadership activities, are invited to become members of the Scholars Program, participating in a rich mix of seminars, cultural events, domestic and international travel colloquia, research, and community service. Membership in the Scholars Program is renewable annually, based on participation and academic achievement. Scholars must maintain a grade point average of at least 3.5.
