Ernesto Valenzuela is an audio engineer, producer, sound designer, and composer whose work focuses on recording technologies and music production. His credits include artists such as The B-52s, Fred Schneider, David Bowie, Sterling Campbell, Neil Jason & the Seamoon All-Star Band, and TEMPT. His theater work includes productions with La MaMa Experimental Theater, Ping Chong & Company, and NYU’s Educational Theater program.

At NYU, Ernesto serves as Technology Operations Manager for the Department of Music and Performing Arts Professions, where he leads the department’s technology team and oversees audio, recording, and instructional technology across all studios and teaching spaces under the department’s purview.

He holds a BE in Mechanical-Electrical Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey and an MM in Music Technology from NYU Steinhardt.
