Jing (Amy) is a doctoral student at New York University in Teaching and Learning, specializing in Science Education and Environmental Education. She is a chemist and chemistry teacher. Amy earned her undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Xiamen University and a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from Iowa State University. She also obtained an M.S. and certification in adolescent education from Pace University. She has been teaching chemistry and mentoring science research students at Francis Lewis High School in New York City. Amy has several publications in chemistry journals and is interested in a variety of topics in the education field.
