I'm a PhD student at NYU's Music and Audio Research Lab (MARL), working on audio informatics with Dr. Brian McFee. I'm also a classically trained pianist, music director, and composer. Previously, I worked as electronic music programmer for a variety of shows both in and out of NYC, including shows by Dragone and the reality talent show The Voice in China. I received my master's in music technology from NYU Steinhardt, and my bachelor's in piano performance and composition from Boston University.
My research interests are at the intersection of audio informatics and interactive systems. My master's thesis culminated in designing and releasing GuitarSet, a dataset of acoustic guitar recordings with rich, note-level annotations.
