Margaret Morone-Wilson

Margaret Morone-Wilson is a Clinical Assistant Professor, and Teacher Residency Director, at Syracuse. She is a thirty-three-year veteran of the Syracuse City School District, NY, and retired as Assistant Superintendent of Elementary, Pk-8 schools, and Early Childhood programs. She received her undergraduate degree from SUNY Plattsburgh in elementary and special education.

She received her master's degree from Syracuse University in Special Education and Educational Leadership. Margaret Morone-Wilson has been a consultant, coach, and presenter in the areas of inclusive education, teaching students with autism, social-emotional learning, standards-based instruction, school turnaround leadership, and instructional coaching. Margaret Morone-Wilson is passionate about the power of teachers to affect change by transforming public education to build a stronger democracy, critical to combating poverty and ensuring civil rights.

Margaret Morone-Wilson is an enthusiastic educator and advocate for high-quality education for all children. She has teaching and leadership experience in the preschool, elementary, secondary, and collegiate levels. She has been a classroom teacher, instructional coach, building principal, district Director of Professional Development, Executive Director of Middle Schools, and Assistant Superintendent.
