Kirsten Munro has over 25 years of experience in the non-profit arts and culture sector, with a commitment to building organizational capacity through strategically aligning program and fund development. After over 9 years as Director of Development at Baryshnikov Arts Center, she has recently returned to a BAM, where she is working with the new administration in overseeing all aspects of fundraising as a Development Lead. In addition to BAM, she has previously held development positions at Brooklyn Botanic Garden and Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. She began her arts administration and non-profit management career working with Czech and Slovak cultural and environmental exchange programs at Foundation for a Civil Society, building on her work teaching in the former Czechoslovakia following the Velvet Revolution. She is also Adjunct Faculty at Teachers College, Columbia University in Arts Administration. She holds an MSc from the London School of Economics and a BA from Pomona College.
