Summer Institute for Woodwind Studies

We are planning to run this program in-person for summer 2022; however, we must remain flexible in our response to COVID-19 developments. The health and safety of our students, faculty, and staff are our primary concerns, so remote workshops may be a necessary alternative. This page will be updated as soon as guidance from NYU central is available.

Spend a week in our virtual classroom studying, collaborating, and performing with our esteemed woodwind faculty and students from around the globe! Our 5-day program, designed for high school and undergraduate students, will be packed with activity! Throughout the week students will participate in private lessons, daily studio classes, special topics masterclasses, and virtual chamber music projects. Masterclass topics will include in-home recording and production, careers in the music industry, "singing" through your instrument, reed making, and more. The program will culminate with a special virtual concert showcasing student chamber music projects.

Interested students must have access to the internet and a computer with video ability.
