Nearly half of all Steinhardt undergraduates study abroad at one of NYU's global academic centers for at least one full semester. Some complete a full year or more abroad, often at two different locations.
Steinhardt offers senior-level undergraduate students the opportunity to study abroad for 2-6 weeks during January, spring break, or summer by opening a select number of graduate-level global courses to upper-level NYU undergraduate students. These courses immerse students in a focused academic topic taught by NYU Steinhardt faculty.
Steinhardt Dean's Global Honors Seminars are one of the signatures features of our 4-year Steinhardt Honors Program.
Steinhardt undergraduate students may use NYU study away course work to satisfy the Core Curriculum.
