Dr. Yuna Seong is Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Teaching and Learning at NYU Steinhardt, where she teaches Language Evaluation and Assessment. She also directs the Community Language Program and advanced certificate programs in TESOL and Language Program Management at Teachers College, Columbia University.

Previously, she was Clinical Assistant Professor and Assessment Coordinator at NYU’s English Language Institute, where she designed and taught English courses, managed proficiency testing, and led a curriculum redesign. She continues to consult for organizations such as ETS and College Board, and her research focuses on second language speaking assessment, scenario-based language assessment, and the cognitive processes underlying language test performance.
