Sera provides on-site and remote consultation services to support and empower educators to establish inclusive and equitable classrooms that cultivate self-determination, engagement, and belonging. She was previously an elementary teacher with a masters in early childhood education from Teachers College Columbia University and is currently an Ed.D candidate at NYU Steinhardt’s Educational Leadership & Policy Studies program. Sera has experience working with schools and district leaders to advocate for equitable schools, as well as providing training around inclusive classroom practices. She promotes strength-based and child-led instructional approaches to create neurodiversity-affirming classrooms.
