Parker (she/her) Foster is currently a Research Associate with the Policy, Research, and Evaluation Team and a Research & Policy Analyst with the Education Justice Research Organizing Coalition at the NYU Metropolitan Center for Research on Equity and the Transformation of Schools. In this capacity, she conducts mixed-methods research on various projects including examining the impact of teachers' implementation of culturally responsive and mastery-based education on historically marginalized students. Moreover, her personal experiences and passions lie in social justice with a focus on systems of incarceration and their impact on the education of young girls. Parker has a BA from Howard University and a MA from Teachers College, Columbia University.
