Liang-Yuan “Leo” Wu is a CS PhD student working with Prof. Magdalena Fuentes. Prior to joining NYU and MARL, he received a BS in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University (2021) and a MS in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Michigan (2024). His research focuses on speech and audio AI. Previously, he also worked on audio accessibility. He aims to build audio AI systems that better understand sound and support people’s needs.
