I am passionate about teaching American Sign Language and have been an adjunct professor at NYU for 22 years. I started my professional career as an actress, performing across the United States and around the world with the National Theatre of the Deaf. I have also performed storytelling using ASL in and around New York. On television, I appeared in an episode of "Spin City," and had a role in a feature film, produced by Amazon Prime, "Wonderstruck."
I enjoy painting using watercolor, water-soluble oil and pen and ink. I walk every day through parks and on city streets, travel abroad whenever I can and grow herbs in my garden at home for my cooking.
