Teaching and Learning

My name is Aleksandr Rozentsvit (He,Him,His). I prefer to go with my nickname Alek. I'm the ASL Minor coordinator for New York University. I graduated from Gallaudet University in Washington DC in 2018 with a major in Interpreting with a minor in Deaf Studies. Then I enrolled in graduate school at Gallaudet again and graduated in 2022 with MA degree in American Sign Language Teaching. I am also a freelance Deaf Interpreter with a specialization on DeafBlind Interpreting through the ProTactile Interpreting Institute (PLI) which was a federally funded program to train both deaf & hearing interpreters of how to work with the DeafBlind communities.

When I'm not teaching and during my free time. I like to travel, exploring new places, and love to cook/bake.
