The University plans to resume semester study abroad activity at NYU Global Sites this coming fall, pending a reduction in COVID-related health and travel concerns. The Fall 2021 Study Away application is still open. Admissions are now on a rolling basis as space remains available. Students will be able to view Fall 2021 global course offerings in Albert beginning May 3. The Spring 2022 study abroad application will open in June with a September 15 deadline.
Each undergraduate department at NYU Steinhardt has 1-4 academic partnerships with specific NYU Global Sites. These Academic Pathways allow students to take courses within their major taught by local faculty. Students also may be able to enroll in a remote course from Washington Square or another NYU Global Site while studying abroad. Tuition and registration fees remain the same at all sites, and the student's NYU financial aid package travels with them. Additional Scholarships and Financial Aid for study abroad are also available, as well as cost of living estimates based on location.
