Piano Studies Alum Annie Jeng Appointed to the Piano Faculty at UNC Greensboro

Annie Jeng has been appointed Assistant Professor of Piano and Piano Pedagogy at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has performed at the Brancaleoni International Music Festival, Gijón International Piano Festival, Kennedy Center, Interlochen Arts Academy, and throughout China. A Presser scholar, Annie has presented at Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) conferences at collegiate, state, and national levels and College Music Society (CMA) regional conferences. Recent projects include “Music by the Barrel,” a concert series at the Ann Arbor Distilling Company; “Beyond the Keys: Unlocking Piano Works,” an interactive concert on the roof of a parking deck performed by her piano pedagogy students; and “Brews-keys,” which featured UNCG piano faculty and students at Oden Brewing Company in Greensboro. She has also led music workshops focusing on music as a form of expression through the Prison Creative Arts Project at University of Michigan. Annie received her master of music in Piano Performance from the University of Michigan and her bachelor of music in Piano Performance with a minor in Public Health from NYU.
