NYU Steinhardt has climbed to the #4 ranking on the U.S. News & World Report's list of the best graduate schools of education.
New York University’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development has taken the #4 spot in this year’s annual ranking of the Best Graduate Schools of Education by U.S News & World Report.
NYU Steinhardt has held a spot among the top 10 schools of education in the United States for the last five years and is currently the highest ranked school of education in New York City.
In an email to the community, Steinhardt Dean Jack H. Knott noted that the School's consistent ranking in the top 10 reflects its growing research portfolio, the high performance of doctoral students, and the impact that faculty have made in education-related fields.
He added, "This latest ranking acknowledges our reputation as an institution dedicated to artistic and academic excellence and affirms our position as a national leader among our peers."
Through curricula that integrate education, communication, health, and the arts, NYU Steinhardt’s programs further education for social change.
The 2023 U.S. News & World Report rankings are based on data gathered during fall 2021 and early 2022.
