NYU Steinhardt PAA Program Announces 2026–27 Experts-in-Residence Cohort
The NYU Steinhardt Performing Arts Administration (PAA) program is pleased to announce its 2026–27 cohort of Experts-in-Residence, marking the third year of an initiative connecting students with professionals actively shaping the performing arts field.
Throughout the academic year, Experts-in-Residence provide professional insight, individualized guidance, and practical learning through one-on-one conversations, events, workshops, and other opportunities that connect classroom learning with real-world experience.
The 2026–27 Experts-in-Residence are:
- Duke Dang (’06), Executive Director, Works & Process
- Nora Fleury, Associate Director, AMS Planning & Research
- Laura Giannatempo, Founder, ArtsForward Marketing & Consulting
- Yejin Kim (’19), Special Events Manager, New York Philharmonic
- Albert Martinez (’23), Manager of Strategy and Planning, Alvin Ailey Dance Foundation
- Jack Noseworthy (’23), Commercial Theatre Producer, Truworthy Productions; Individual Giving Officer, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS
- Joe Petrowski (’20), Director of Ticketing and Customer Relations, Park Avenue Armory
- Cameron Terry (’23), Founder and Artistic Director, Shades Dance Theater
- Mara Vlatković, Digital Communications Analyst, United Nations Population Fund; Co-founder, Young Professionals in the Arts
Six of the nine are returning resident experts, reflecting an ongoing commitment to supporting emerging arts administrators and contributing to their professional development. Three new experts further expand the range of perspectives represented in the program.
As the program enters its third year, its impact on students’ career development is becoming increasingly visible. In one recent example, a one-on-one conversation with an Expert-in-Residence encouraged a student to make a new professional connection beyond the residency itself. That introduction led to hands-on experience with an arts organization and helped the student successfully transition from a career outside the field into arts administration full time. Examples like this demonstrate the value of creating sustained opportunities for students to engage with experienced professionals who can offer perspective, encouragement, and practical guidance at pivotal points in their career journeys.
PAA looks forward to another year of meaningful exchange, professional exploration, and community building with the 2026–27 Experts-in-Residence.
