As a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Director on Broadway, Educational Theatre doctoral student Nicole Johnson seeks to strengthen community and relationships among theater professionals who seek to dismantle systemic oppression, giving them the tools to enforce equitable policies and practices in their workplaces. Recently featured in this NYTimes article, Johnson develops workshops, strategy sessions, and policy reform in partnership with producers, theater organizations, and unions.
