Four NYU Steinhardt Alumni Win Top Tony Awards at 77th Annual Celebration of Broadway

NYU Steinhardt alumni won top awards including Best New Play and Best Revival of a Play at the 2024 Tony Awards on June 16.

The winners were among more than 70 nominations for NYU faculty and alumni announced in May across 16 categories spanning performances, lighting, scenic and costume design, composition, and orchestration. A production must have opened between April 28, 2023 and April 25, 2024 to be eligible for the awards.

The awards were hosted by Ariana DeBose and held at Lincoln Center in Manhattan. NYU Steinhardt winners are listed below. View the complete list of nominations and winners.
