The Department of Occupational Therapy is pleased to share that two MS student presentations won awards at the 2022 Steinhardt Research Showcase. Read more about the presentations and awards below.
MS students Lauren Blose, Franchesca Vidal, and Winnie Qi were awarded Best Overall Poster Presentation Award at the 2022 Steinhardt Research Showcase. Their work on Culturally Sensitive Mentoring in OT was done in conjunction with their faculty mentors Drs. Janet Njelesani and Shanteria Carr and the NYU OT Anti-racism taskforce.
MS students Jaqui Angulo, Rayvon Daniel, Boruch Wilansky and Alicia Wong were awarded Best Master's Poster Presentation Award at the 2022 Steinhardt Research Showcase. Their work on Examining the Effectiveness of Occupational Therapy & OT-Related Interventions in College-Age Students with Mental Illness was done in conjunction with their faculty mentor, Dr. Ginelle John.
