CiCi Fader, an NYU Steinhardt Piano Studies student, has been chosen to receive the 2024-2025 Presser Foundation Undergraduate Scholar Award (link is external)on behalf of the Presser Foundation(link is external).

The $3,000 award is presented to an undergraduate music major at the end of their final academic year. It is designed to encourage and support the education of a music student who exemplifies high academic accomplishment, leadership, and citizenship.

“I am so deeply honored to be the recipient of this prestigious award. It feels so special to be chosen among such talented peers, and encourages me to strive even harder to achieve my musical goals,” said Fader. “I plan to use the grant to help fund tuition to attend the International Summer Academy at the Mozarteum Conservatory in Salzburg, Austria during the summer of 2025. My passion has always been creating the music that I love and moving those around me, and being recognized as a Presser Scholar has reaffirmed my goal to do so.”
