BFA Senior Honors Studio: The Magician's Choice on view until May 17, 2026.

The Magician's Choice is a group exhibition curated by 80WSE Director Howie Chen, featuring the artwork of nine BFA Studio Art majors in the final year of their undergraduate studies at the New York University Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development’s Department of Art & Art Professions.

The NYU Steinhardt Graduate Art Therapy Program proudly announces the presentation of Master’s Theses for the Class of 2026.

Visual Arts Administration Showcase on May 11, 2026.

Each spring semester, final-year NYU Steinhardt Visual Arts Administration graduate students showcase their culminating capstone projects. This event is a celebration of scholarship including presentations and a tabling expo.

On May 15th, P·P·O·W Gallery will host a panel discussion featuring Howie Chen (80WSE Director), Adam Putnam, and Oscar yi Hou, moderated by curator and writer Eugenie Tsai, in conjunction with Martin Wong: Popeye.

A Waking Dream, curated by Echo Yu He (VAA Alum & Adjunct Faculty), opens on May 9th at Fou Gallery. The opening reception will take place from 4–8 pm and the exhibit will be on view until June 24th.

Kerri Schlottman (VAA Adjunct Faculty) will celebrate the launch of her new book Daytime Moon through a conversation with Laura Venita Green and an audience Q&A at P&T Knitwear on May 12th. Daytime Moon is an unforgettable journey through hidden stories, the depths of women’s secrets, the shimmering fluidity of memory, and the magic of transmutation.

Alice Wang (MFA Alum) was interviewed by art critic Jenny Wu for Ocula Magazine to discuss the latest installment of her Pyramids and Parabolas series in New York.

Wang's film Space Analogs: Pyramids and Parabolas III is currently on view as part of the exhibition Palomar at The Renaissance Society, curated by Karsten Lund.
