The Institute maintains a multidisciplinary faculty affiliate network, comprised of New York University scholars in applied psychology, developmental psychology, economics, political science, sociology, public policy, and social work. As a core part of its mission, the Institute supports faculty research directly through internal seed grants, but also fosters innovative scholarship by engaging faculty and students in its academic conferences, offering graduate and postgraduate training opportunities, faculty seminars, and facilitating faculty affiliates' dissemination and translation of their findings to the local and national policy communities.
