The Institute maintains a multidisciplinary research affiliate network, comprised of New York University scholars in applied psychology, developmental psychology, education, economics, political science, sociology, public policy, communications, public health, social work, and more. As a core part of its mission, the Institute supports faculty research directly through internal seed grants, but also fosters innovative scholarship by engaging faculty, researchers, and students in its academic conferences, offering graduate and postgraduate training opportunities, seminars, and facilitating faculty and research affiliates' dissemination and translation of their findings to the local and national policy communities.
