Undergraduate Housing

NYU has undergraduate residence halls in Manhattan and Brooklyn. The Office of Residential Life has lots of information on undergraduate housing applications, expenses, spaces, and lots more.

On-Campus Graduate Housing

NYU’s on-campus graduate student housing is limited, with fewer spaces available than there are graduate students who apply. To give yourself the best possible chance at on-campus housing, be sure to apply as soon as the application is available – in April for Summer and Fall semesters, and in early November for the Spring semester. See NYU’s page on applying for housing for more information, or reach out to NYU Residential Life and Housing Services at housing@nyu.edu or 212-998-4600.

Living Off-Campus as a Graduate Student

We encourage you to explore off-campus housing options for your time at NYU Steinhardt. The NYU Center for Student Life does not provide apartments, but they do offer resources including general advice, an exclusive housing and roommate registry, market information, and more.
