Who We Are

NYU Metro Center functions through the mutual support provided by each unit and role to create one NYU Metro Center. Our organizational chart outlines the vision for the structure of NYU Metro Center. Each piece of our organizational structure is a vital part of the organization and allows us to live our mission, vision, and values. While traditional organizational charts are displayed hierarchically with the organization’s leader at the top, inspired by the work of Jess Moore Matthews, Chief Good Troublemaker and Founder of Backbone Digital Leaders, we flip the script. This serves to feature at the top of the chart those colleagues and sub-units whose work is closest to the students, communities, schools, educators, and leaders with whom we partner, and to illustrate our infrastructure of support for the powerful and life-affirming work of the NYU Metro Center.

We also collaborate with a broad range of partners. These collaborations foster a relationship of innovation and mutual support.

Centers, Programs, and Projects

Our comprehensive programs and projects serve a wide range of constituencies including community members, parents, students, teachers, and school leaders.
