Metro's Liberty Partnerships Program (LPP) has welcomed a new Program Coordinator, Ms. Jasrin Jalal. Jasrin is a former NYU LPP tutor who graduated with a Masters in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University, Steinhardt. She started working with Metro Center in 2016 - 2017 as a tutor for vulnerable high school students, while also assisting their guidance counselors in planning the socio-emotional aspect.

In her role as Program Coordinator, Jasrin serves as a specialist on issues related to counseling and case management. She provides direct services to students, and continues to work with their guidance counselors in providing interventions for their mental health and academic needs.
