From September through June, investigators at IHDSC have been awarded 25 grants and contracts totaling over $11 million. We want to take a moment to acknowledge and celebrate all of the important work that our network of researchers has been able to launch through external funding during this uncertain and tumultuous year. These awards support innovative work addressing inequality and opportunity across our thematic areas. They stem from the hard work of researchers in seven departments across Steinhardt, Arts & Science, and Stern School of Business and our two embedded centers, Global TIES for Children and the Center for Critical Race + Digital Studies (CR+DS).
Many IHDSC affiliates were able to launch new lines of research, embark on training and career development plans, receive funding from new sources, or extend and expand ongoing research projects and partnerships in new and meaningful ways:

IHDSC affiliates study the health and wellbeing of children, youth, and adults with an emphasis on mental and behavioral health, risks, and protective factors, and environmental influences.
