Dr. Adriana Villavicencio will participate in a regional spotlight session on education at the American Sociological Association’s 114th Annual Meeting. Dr. Villavicencio will join several other experts in a session titled “Educational Successes and Challenges in Diverse Urban Districts: Lessons from New York City.” Her presentation will explore progress and challenges in the pursuit of equity in NYC’s public schools.

The session will take place on Sunday, August 11th, from 8:30 to 10:10am.
