Dr. Kristie Patten Koenig, Principal Investigator of the NYU ASD Nest Support Project at Steinhardt Metro Center, is the recipient of the University of Southern California 2017 Patricia Buehler Legacy Award for Clinical Innovation. Dr. Koenig was presented the award on November 14, 2017 when she presented her research on the efficacy of interventions utilized in public schools for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders, with a special emphasis on applications of strength-based paradigms in inclusive settings.
