Metro's Project for the Advancement of Our Common Humanity (PACH) kicks off their second year of the Listening Project with University Neighborhood Middle School. The project's goals are to enhance listening skills, empathy, trust, academic engagement and achievement as well as disrupt stereotypes and build relationships across differences. The project includes training students in the methods of transformative interviewing and helping them to connect to their classmates, teachers, and families through this process.
In the spring, PACH will expand to two new schools, as well as continue the project with their pilot schools.
