Sessions will be held online from 4:00-5:30PM or 6:00-7:30PM
The Citywide CRSE Professional Learning Communities (CCPLC) are part of a larger partnership between the NYCDOE's Division of Educator Development and The Metro Center at New York University's Steinhardt School. CCPLC is designed for educator leaders focused on deepening their team's CRSE development and implementation of school change or transformation efforts.
District or school leaders send cohorts or teams to gain tailored support on their current implementation of CRSE standards and practices. This opportunity is ideal for school equity teams, professional development committees, school leadership teams etc. who are looking to grow CRSE practices and mindsets.
Participants attend monthly online workshop sessions that will include time for team coaching and action planning. Sessions will be held online from 4:00-5:30PM or 6:00-7:30PM on the following Thursdays: 1/11, 2/29, 3/28, 4/18 and 5/30. All team members are expected to have completed the three asynchronous CRSE modules on WeLearn before January 8th .
Between January and June, teams can schedule one-on-one coaching or join with other teams for group coaching around specific topics or needs. Participants are encouraged to bring work artifacts, data, or problems of practice to ground coaching sessions in ongoing implementation work.
